“Excellence and Development in Teaching” – recruitment for training

“Excellence and Development in Teaching” is a project implemented at the University of Warsaw, aimed at comprehensively enhancing the quality of education and developing teaching competencies among academic staff and doctoral candidates. The initiative is part of the university’s broader strategy to promote modern, inclusive, and high-quality teaching.

As part of the project, doctoral candidates are offered free development activities totaling 32 teaching hours. The programme includes training in teaching skills, digital competencies (including the use of artificial intelligence tools and advanced databases), green transformation topics, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), which supports the creation of accessible and inclusive learning environments.

An important component of the project is also a series of discussion groups, providing a space for sharing experiences, reflecting on teaching practices, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

The training is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026. The first stage of recruitment, which involves completing the application form, is open until May 8, 2026.
