Meetings of the Doctoral Students’ Council Board with the University Authorities

The new Board of the Doctoral Students’ Council has been actively working for the academic community since the very first days of its term. With full commitment, it is implementing its initial initiatives and actively participating in meetings dedicated to doctoral students’ affairs.

Meeting with the Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw for Doctoral and Legal Affairs, Prof. Adam Niewiadomski

We discussed the objectives of the “Council for Doctoral Students” program and the priorities for the new Board’s term. The program focuses on strengthening social security, reforming the scholarship system, improving research conditions, and increasing doctoral students’ real influence on regulations and university decisions. We also emphasize the professionalization of the council, continuous dialogue with university authorities, and initiatives supporting community, well-being, and equal treatment.

 

 

Meeting with the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Zygmunt Lalak

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to introduce the new Board, discuss the future of the IDUB program, and explore the scientific development prospects for doctoral students. It was a space for open and constructive discussion on the challenges and directions that will shape our research environment in the coming years.

 

 

 

 

 

Meeting with the Directors of the Doctoral Schools of the University of Warsaw

The meeting with the Directors of the University of Warsaw’s Doctoral Schools focused on the draft amendments to the doctoral schools’ regulations. The discussions addressed key proposed modifications and their potential impact on the course of doctoral education and the situation of doctoral students.
