The meeting dedicated to doctoral matters

On April 23, the University of Warsaw hosted a meeting dedicated to doctoral matters at the intersection of faculties and doctoral schools. The discussions brought together Prof. Adam Niewiadomski, Vice-Rector for Doctoral and Legal Affairs, directors of doctoral schools, heads of teaching units, as well as representatives of the PhD Student’s Union.

The main topics included:
🔹 development of a diverse educational offer for doctoral candidates,
🔹 the role of teaching assistantships in doctoral training and gaining teaching experience,
🔹 strengthening the international dimension of doctoral education and activity,
🔹 the organization and quality of internships as an important element of preparation for future academic and non-academic careers.

The importance of efficient information flow and coherent action across all university units was emphasized as crucial for maintaining high-quality doctoral education and support.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in these discussions and jointly work towards solutions addressing current challenges!
